Ashley Maggy

Ashley Maggy is an Ecologist with Flynn Furney Environmental Consultants. She holds an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from Trinity College Dublin, where her research examined human-wildlife conflict and the winter-feeding patterns of Chacma baboons in Limpopo, South Africa.
Her previous experience includes researching the ecological impacts of recreational activities in the Adirondack Mountains and acting as a Science Communication Officer for a biodiversity research station in Madagascar. Since joining Flynn Furney, Ashley has worked on Appropriate Assessment Screenings and Ecological Impact Assessments for local authorities and invasive non-native species surveys. She has also contributed to conservation management planning, biodiversity net gain assessments and biodiversity training initiatives with county councils.
Ashley’s primary ecological interests include human-wildlife conflict, community-based conservation, and science communication.
