Darragh Murphy
BA Science, MSc
Darragh holds a MSc Conservation & Biodiversity University of Exeter and a BA Science in Zoology from Trinity College Dublin.
Darragh has worked as a wildlife biologist, ecologist and science communicator over the past 10 years in Ireland, with a few stints in Peru, Seychelles and South Africa.
Since 2016 he has been a part of the FFEC team, with a focus on implementing environmental mitigation on construction projects which pose risks to freshwater habitats.
Darragh is currently working on a PhD project in Environmental Science with UCC, which is investigating the role of Nature Based Solutions in managing flood risk and water quality problems in agricultural catchments
