Jennifer has been an Environmental Consultant with Flynn Furney Environmental Consultants for the past 3 years. She has 10 years’ experience in the environmental field.
Jennifer holds a BSc in Environmental Science from NUI Galway (now University of Galway) and a MSc Degree in Sustainable Development from DIT Bolton Street (now TU Dublin).
At Flynn Furney, she has worked on a range of projects, including developing small to large scale biodiversity action plans, undertaking ecological and water quality assessments, preparing AAs and EcIAs and writing management guidelines and policy documents for trees & hedgrows. She also regularly delivers biodiversity-related talks and presentations to the public.
Previously, Jennifer was an Environment Officer with the Environment Agency in the UK. Before that, she worked at Dutch engineering firm Witteveen+Bos in the Netherlands, with the Energy and Sustainable Development team.
She has also worked with the Project Communications team at RPS Group, Dublin and interned as an Engagement Officer for DIT Green Campus Committee.
Jennifer is passionate about protecting the environment, especially in terms of biodiversity and wildlife conservation, water quality and waste management.
