Lauren Woods

Lauren holds a first-class honours BSc in Environmental and Geographical Sciences from the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) where her final thesis was focused on studying epiphytic bryophytes and lichens in native and non-native woodlands in County Monaghan.
Lauren was an intern with Flynn Furney Environmental Consultants in 2022 and returned to work with the Flynn Furney team full-time after graduating in 2023. Lauren has worked on a range of projects including appropriate assessments, ecological impact assessments, biodiversity action plans, water quality assessments, ecological surveys and invasive species management.
At TUS, Lauren gained skills in Sustainable Development, Earth Science and Ecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Water Quality & Analysis and Soil Science.
